''Aenetus tegulatus'' is a moth of the Hepialidae family. It is known from south-eastern Papua New Guinea, the Northern Territory and Queensland.〔(Australian Faunal Directory )〕 The wingspan is about 40 mm for females and males are smaller. Adult males have mottled fawn forewings and pale green hindwings. Females have bright green forewings and pink hindwings.〔(Australian Insects )〕 Young larvae feed on dead leaves.
